I Need Your Help to Fight ArthritisFor Me and Everyone Who Has Arthritis

My name is Noah Jones and I am 4 years old. I have been chosen by The Arthritis Foundation to be the Honoree at the Arthritis Walk at Pearson Park in New Castle, Pa on May 10th. By being the Honoree I will represent everyone who has arthritis no matter how old they are. Please come and join us at the walk if you can.

I was first diagnosed with arthritis when I was only 19 months old. In the last 2 1/2 years the arthritis has spread from my right knee where it was first found to my left knee and now it has even gone to my feet. I have had 2 knee surguries to drain the fluids from my knees and to put medicine back in there. The Doctors have just recently told my Mom & Dad that they have to give me a shot once a week to try to keep the arthritis from spreading anywhere else in my body. I have to take the shot every week for at least a year to see if it will work for me. I don't like shots very much but I am getting better at taking them because I don't want to hurt anyplace else like my feet and knees hurt. I try to be a big boy in front of my little brother and little sister because I don't want them to be afraid of getting shots but you have to remember that I am only 4 years old and I get afraid sometimes too.

Right now I need your help. I am trying to raise as much money as I can for The Arthritis Foundation so they can help fund the researchers who are trying to find a cure for arthritis. I hope that since I am pretty young that someday a cure will be found so that myself and other kids like me and everyone else too won't have to hurt everyday from arthritis.

I am hoping that any donations you decide to make are made from my page. My goal is to try to raise more than I did last year and I want to try to do this every year.
